Sonic Summary

We are seeking an experienced HGV2 Driver with a full clean driver's license and rear steer experience.
Candidates with experience in the local authority or waste industry will be preferred but not required.
Key skills include safe driving, attention to detail, spatial awareness, and teamwork, along with knowledge of health and safety procedures.
The position involves following pre-planned routes, transporting waste to a facility, and assisting loaders in waste collection.
This temporary role offers a schedule of 37 hours per week, from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, with potential for permanent placement, and salary details were not specified.

We are looking for an experienced HGV2 Driver.

We are looking for someone who has experience driving large/ heavy goods vehicles, experience in local authority or waste industry is a plus!

Skills: Safe driving, attention to detail, following routes, spatial awareness and teamwork

Knowledge: Must know health and safety procedures and we’d like for you to be familiar with local routes, but this is not essential.

Requirements: Must have a full clean driver’s licence, HGV2 and rear steer experience.

Your responsibilities will include following pre- planned routes and sticking to a schedule, you will be assisted by loaders who will collect the waste. You will also have to transport the waste to a waste facility.

This role:

Start time 7:30am - 15:30pm

Monday - Friday

37 Hours per week

This role is temporary but could possibly go permanent for the right person!
