SEN Support Worker - Upminster

We have an exciting opportunity for a SEN Support Worker to join our Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' secondary school located in the heart of Upminster.

Are you passionate about supporting and shaping the lives of young learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities? We are looking for caring, dedicated, and kind individuals to work closely with our students to ensure they feel valued, understood, and supported in their education.

As a SEN Support Worker in Upminster, you will play a crucial role in helping students with additional needs, such as ASD and ADHD, reach their full potential. While experience with specific needs is preferred, it is not essential-we are seeking individuals with the right attitude and a genuine desire to make a difference.

The ideal SEN Support Worker will:

  • Be available on a full-time basis (5 days per week) to provide consistency for students

  • Have a patient, compassionate, and nurturing approach

  • Demonstrate a commitment to inclusive education and student well-being

  • Be able to build positive, trusting relationships with students and staff

  • Show a willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of individual students

This role is to start as soon as possible, with the potential to continue into the new academic year starting September 2025, depending on performance, attendance, and punctuality.

You will be paid between £90 and £100 per day, depending on experience.
