Our client is seeking a talented Senior Estimator to join a leading main contractor in Brentwood, specializing in Decent Homes and Retrofit projects up to £5 million in value.
The Role:
As a Senior Estimator, you will be a key part of the pre-construction team, responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for refurbishment projects. This role offers a mix of office-based work in Brentwood with some flexibility to work from home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing cost estimates for Decent Homes and Retrofit projects
- Managing the tender process from initial enquiry through to submission
- Engaging with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations
- Assessing risks and opportunities within each bid
- Working closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
What Theyre Looking For:
- Proven experience as an Estimator within a main contractor environment
- Strong knowledge of Decent Homes, Planned Maintenance, and Retrofit projects
- Ability to price projects up to £5 million
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in estimating software and Excel
- A team player with a keen eye for detail
