ICA Engineer - Water Industry Projects - 68K-73K
A long-established engineering consultancy is looking to recruit an ICA Engineer to join their project delivery team. The role involves working on clean and wastewater infrastructure projects, overseeing commissioning activities for Controls, Instrumentation and Automation systems, and ensuring successful integration and operation across various sites in the South of England.
Main Duties:
- Develop commissioning plans, procedures, and documentation
- Supervise installation and commissioning works on site, ensuring compliance with quality and asset standards
- Coordinate with site and operational teams to plan works and outages
- Conduct fault finding and system configuration for ICA equipment including PLCs and control panels
- Travel to various sites as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience with ICA systems within the water or infrastructure sector
- Commissioning experience on said systems
- PLC, HMI and SCADA experience
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to work hybrid and attend site when required
- Strong coordination and communication skills
Desirable:
- SMSTS or SSSTS qualification
- CSCS card (supervisory level)
- HNC or higher in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation
- Experience with WIMES and UK water industry standards
- Demonstrated problem-solving capability
Salary/Location:
- The salary for this position is 68,000-73,000 per annum
- Hybrid role with site travel across Southern England
- Benefits include company car scheme, annual bonus, pension, and 25 days holiday
- Contracting option available at a competitive day rate
