MMA Welder

MMA Welder - Knockhill Bridge (Bridge of Allan) & Forth Road Bridge - £21 to £25 p/h

We are currently recruiting experienced MMA Welders for a short-term, site-based project working on major infrastructure across Scotland. This role involves structural welding on the underside of bridge structures, performing MMA welding on bridge support steel in challenging and safety-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MMA welding on bridge support steel structures

• Work underneath bridge decks and in confined spaces

• Ensure all welding is completed to safety and structural standards

• Interpret and follow technical drawings and site instructions

• Comply with all site-specific health and safety protocols

• Communicate effectively with team members and site supervisors

• Report any hazards, defects, or incidents immediately

Requirements

• Valid CSCS Card

• Confined Space Certification (Essential)

• Proven experience in MMA (stick) welding

• Previous experience with bridge or structural steelwork (preferred)

• Physically fit and capable of working in confined spaces

• Strong knowledge of health and safety practices

• Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
