Morgan Hunt is seeking a Painter & Decorator for a 3-week contract with a facilities management company in Kilmacolme.
The position offers a pay rate of £21 per hour, with working hours from 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday and 8 am to 3 pm on Friday.
Candidates must have a CSCS card and either a City & Guilds qualification or time-served experience in painting and decorating.
Applicants should possess their own tools and PPE, and experience in social housing and new build apartments is preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in the field is required, along with a professional attitude and the ability to complete the full duration of the job.

Pay Rate: £21

Hours: 40 hrs 8am to 16:30pm Mon to Thurs and 8 am to 15:00pm Fri

Location: Kilmacolme

Duration 3 weeks contract

Job description requirements

Painter and Decorator

Currently looking for a painter and decorator on a temporary project in Kilmacolme. Working on social housing and new build apartments across the city. Must have a CSCS card, City and guilds or time served experience. Must have all own tools and whites and a professional attitude.

Main scope of works is repair work and some new. Internal emulsion and gloss, with some filling and rubbing down. Must be able to complete the full duration of the job (3 weeks).

Qualification

City & Guilds part II or minimum NVQ Level 2 in painting and decorating, or CSCS card and time served

Recognised apprenticeship in painting and decorating

Experience

Must be a time served painter and decorator

Worked within NHS environment (preferable).

Ability to interact at all levels.
