Salary / Benefits: £14.28/hr inc shift allowance
Job Elements: -
- Working shifts, mornings (7am-3pm) and afternoons (2pm-10pm) on a weekly rotation
- As part of the quality team, microbiology testing and reporting of raw materials, bulks, intermediate and final product samples.
- Moisture testing of components.
- Environmental monitoring of manufacturing and testing areas.
- Sampling and testing of manufacturing water system.
- Routine Bioburden testing of manufactured product
- Booking in of samples to microbiology database
- Keeping accurate notes and records of all work completed
- Assisting the microbiology team with any duties required
The ideal candidate will have:
- Microsoft office experience essential (including Excel)
- Must have a good understanding of microbiology and associated techniques
- A degree in microbiology or a related subject/experience working within a regulated microbiology laboratory
- Effective verbal communication to support team working and collaboration
