Job Elements: -

  • Working shifts, mornings (7am-3pm) and afternoons (2pm-10pm) on a weekly rotation
  • As part of the quality team, microbiology testing and reporting of raw materials, bulks, intermediate and final product samples.
  • Moisture testing of components.
  • Environmental monitoring of manufacturing and testing areas.
  • Sampling and testing of manufacturing water system.
  • Routine Bioburden testing of manufactured product
  • Booking in of samples to microbiology database
  • Keeping accurate notes and records of all work completed
  • Assisting the microbiology team with any duties required

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Microsoft office experience essential (including Excel)
  • Must have a good understanding of microbiology and associated techniques
  • A degree in microbiology or a related subject/experience working within a regulated microbiology laboratory
  • Effective verbal communication to support team working and collaboration
