Job Title: Class 2 HGV Driver
Location: Bridgend
Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 2:00 pm
Hourly Rate: 12.70
Contract: 3 months
Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for a Monday to Friday role with set hours and a consistent route?
We are recruiting on behalf of our public sector organisation for a reliable and safety conscious Class 2 HGV Driver. This role involves delivering essential supplies to multiple sites across a set route.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks in line with health and safety regulations
- Loading and unloading goods (handballing required)
- Delivering supplies to various sites along a fixed route
- Accurately checking and handling delivery paperwork
- Maintaining a professional and courteous approach with site staff
Requirements:
- A valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence
- Minimum of 3 months' experience driving Class 2 vehicles
- A good understanding of road safety and vehicle compliance
- Ability to undertake physical work including manual handling
- A Standard DBS check (Manpower covers the cost of this)
