Graduate Geotechnical/Geoenvironmental Site Investigation Engineer

ResponsibilitiesAs a Graduate Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Site Investigation Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the planning, execution, and reporting of geotechnical and geoenvironmental site investigations.
  • Conducting fieldwork, including soil and rock logging, sampling, and in-situ testing.
  • Supervising drilling, trial pitting, and other ground investigation activities.
  • Preparing factual and interpretative reports based on site investigation data.
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Supporting senior engineers in the design and analysis of geotechnical and geo-environmental solutions.

QualificationsTo be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or a related discipline.
  • A strong interest in geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • A willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions and travel to project sites as required.
  • A valid driving license is desirable but not essential.

Day-to-DayYour day-to-day activities as a Graduate Geotechnical/Geoenvironmental Site Investigation Engineer will involve:
