Jennifer Griffiths Recruitment are looking for experienced Fabric Cutters for a Client in the Bridgend area.

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cutter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the production process by accurately cutting materials to specified dimensions. This position requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of warehouse operations, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. A background in sewing is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Operate cutting machines and tools with precision to ensure high-quality cuts of various materials.
• Read and interpret production orders and specifications to determine cutting requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on cutting equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred, with a focus on material handling and equipment operation.
• Familiarity with sewing techniques or experience in the textile industry is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in all tasks.
