Brake Press Operator

Vibe Recruit have an immediate requirement for a Brake Press Operator for our well-established client based in Bridgend who are a leading manufacturing of bespoke sheet metal projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering processes, with the ability to operate press brake machinery effectively. Days Shift, Temp to Perm.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form and shape sheet metal.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure the correct specifications
• Perform quality checks on finished goods to ensure standards are met.
• Maintain equipment, with regular maintenance checks and cleaning
• Work as part of a team to ensure all company requirements are met.
• Utilise hand tools effectively
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
