Job Overview:
As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in leading a team that provides care to children with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. This position is ideal for someone looking to step into a leadership role in a supportive, child-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead shifts and ensure service standards are maintained.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to assessments, reviews, and development of care plans.
- Help create a safe and nurturing environment for the children.
- Promote positive experiences and team achievements.
- Experience in a support role (ideally with children).
- QCF or NVQ Level 3 qualification.
- Driving License.
- Knowledge of statutory regulations and safeguarding.
- Ability to carry out Health and Safety risk assessments.
- Enhanced DBS with barred list check required.
- Blue Light Card for discounts at retailers.
- Refer a Friend scheme (earn up to 1000).
