Are you an experienced Administrator with experience of purchasing or working in a manufacturing setting? Does the thought of joining a highly successful, multi national firm with a family feel and a welcoming team appeal to you?

We are currently recruiting for a Purchasing Administrator to join an innovative and successful privately owned manufacturer in Bridgend.

As Purchasing Administrator you will support and coordinate the purchasing function to ensure the optimal delivery of materials and parts within set budgets and timescales.

Additional responsibilities:

* Supporting in the purchasing of defined materials from approved suppliers at the best commercial terms and delivery schedule.

* Monitoring supply vs demand schedules; progress purchase orders and past due deliveries with suppliers and update the ERP system accordingly.

* Running reports to monitor delivery backlog / any material shortages, working closely with other teams within the supply chain and update order dates and production schedules.

* Developing supplier relationships to ensure objectives (e.g. on time delivery performance, supplier performance, kit completion) are met.

* Generating works orders to create demand for purchasing; utilising production bills of materials.

* Carrying out non-conformance activities such as corrective and preventative actions with vendors

* Day to day management of the ERP system including processing works orders to ensure timely delivery of components to support production.
