Citrus Recruit are excited to be working with a global organisation to recruit for an experienced Supply Chain Manager. We’re seeking a proactive and strategic Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimise all aspects of supply chain operations—from planning and procurement to logistics and supplier performance. This is a pivotal role within the business, ensuring the smooth and cost-effective flow of materials to support production goals and meet customer demands. As Supply Chain Manager, you will be working with the Plant Manager, managing a small team of 7 and working collaboratively with key departments including production, engineering, quality, and commercial. If you're looking for a fresh start with a company that values your expertise and offers the chance to travel internationally, this could be the perfect role for you!                                                                                                                   Responsibilities & day to day duties As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Drive strategic planning and execution of supply chain operations to meet business objectives and customer expectations.
  • Lead and improve materials planning, procurement, and inventory management to ensure continuous supply and optimal stock levels.
  • Partner cross-functionally with production, engineering, quality, and commercial teams to support New Product Introductions (NPIs), Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) projects, and customer-centric improvements.
  • Build and manage strong supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and performance in line with key business metrics.
  • Ensure accuracy and process compliance within ERP/MRP systems, while driving ongoing improvements to planning and control tools.
  • Establish, track, and analyse supply chain performance metrics to identify trends, mitigate risks, and capitalize on opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team through effective performance management, mentoring, and succession planning.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, ISO standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
 Skills & experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior supply chain or materials management role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, or a related field (MCIPS or CIPS certification highly desirable).
  • Proven experience with ERP systems and planning tools.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain processes, including demand planning, supplier management, warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and audit compliance desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing process improvements and leading teams through change.
