Reed are supporting a local client in Bridgnorth to appoint a Senior Accountant. Join this manufacturing client at a time of growth and investment. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Financial Controller to delivery timely finance reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual)
  • Lead close processes (month-end, quarter-end, year-end)
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP)
  • Conduct variance and trend analysis
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and audits
  • Improve reporting processes and systems
  • Use advanced Excel for data manipulation and reporting

Requirements:

  • Advanced Excel skills
  • 3+ years in financial reporting
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Clear communication with finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Organised, deadline-driven, and proactive
