Job Overview:

A leading global waste management company is seeking two Capital Sales Managers to drive growth in the UK market. This role focuses on selling waste management solutions, including capital equipment, across commercial and industrial sectors (Mine & Minerals & Environmental Waste). The ideal candidate will be a hunter that can help meet the growth plans, proactive, and experienced in managing a sales pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share within the waste management industry.
  • Focus on selling waste and chemical solutions with a commercial and industrial target market.
  • Work independently with full autonomy to manage workload and schedule.
  • Build and maintain client relationships, with an initial 80/20 split between new business and account management.
  • Meet aggressive growth targets, increasing revenue from £10 million to £30 million in the UK market.
  • £2 Million Individual Annual Target. 
  • Sell products with an average order value between £500 to £1.5 million.
  • Maintain CRM records to track sales progress and customer interactions.
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments for sales support and training.
  • Participate in remote and on-the-road sales activities, with a flexible work schedule tailored to personal preference.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Proven experience in capital sales, preferably in waste management Mine & Mineral or Environmental Waste.
  • Strong understanding of waste and recycling technologies.
  • Self-motivated, commercially driven, and able to operate with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work on national-level sales, managing client relationships and business development.
  • Comfortable with a flexible schedule, balancing remote work, office-based duties, and travel.
