What You’ll Be DoingJoin our team as a Microbiology Biomedical Scientist and help provide excellent diagnostic services. Your responsibilities will include:

Performing a variety of microbiology laboratory tests, including culture and identification

Assisting in the preparation and analysis of samples for diagnostic purposes
-
Conducting antimicrobial susceptibility testing and PCR analysis
-
Maintaining high standards of laboratory procedures and ensuring compliance with all regulations
-
Supporting the development and implementation of quality control measures
-
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient care
Requirements & QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you should have:

HCPC Registration as a Biomedical Scientist
-
IBMS Accredited Degree
-
At least 1 - 2 years of experience in a Microbiology laboratory
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
A commitment to delivering high-quality, efficient laboratory services

Full right to work in the UK (we are unable to provide sponsorship)
Working Hours & Contract DurationThis role requires availability from Monday to Sunday, 37.5 hours per week. The contract is running up until October/November, with the potential for renewal depending on performance and service needs.
