Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Responsibility to ensure the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the production machinery and plant.  Through the team members. Will ensure that the standards set are maintained and improved on within the area of given responsibility. 
  • Responsible for production and quality on the shift and makes sure production requirements are achieved and that production schedules are followed.
  • Complete quality audit forms on surface quality and report defects to Senior operators. The Senior operator will decide on and implement any necessary course of action.
  • To ensure at all times the necessary materials and equipment are in place to ensure plant performance is optimised.
  • Ensure all work schedules are followed and adhered to.  Any deviation from schedule must be reported through the Operating management structure using the computer database and e-mail.
  • Ensure training records are always up to date.
  • Uses downtime effectively housekeeping to be kept to high standards.

Working Hours:    Monday - Friday 42hrs per week
