Opportunity for a Senior Chemical Engineer to join a Global Organic Chemistry supplier in the West Midlands.
As a Senior Chemical Engineer, you will be responsible for acting as a project leader, developing the plants design and advising other engineers by providing your expertise.
Your main duties will be:
路 Designing and Commissioning hazard assessments and HAZOPs
路 Ensuring all work is done in compliance with Statutory Regulations and Codes of Practice
路 Collaborating with Project engineering to develop the plants design
路 Provide expertise to Process Improvement Groups and the Research Department to develop new and existing processes
路 Oversee targets and budgets and advise other engineers, customers, contractors and consultants of technical matters
The qualifications you should have:
路 A Chemical Engineering degree, as a minimum
Advantages you may have:
路 Experience in developing or improving new/existing processes
路 On plant experience with trouble shooting skills
路 COMAH regulations
路 Experience in DSEAR methodology
路 Experience in SIL and LOPA Assessments
Permanent position, Immediate Start, up to 拢60k depending on experience.
