Business Development Manager - Engineering/Electrical background Midlands (Oxford / East Anglia / Nottingham - must be centrally based)£50,000 - £55,000 + Car Allowance

We are seeking a Business Development Manager who can use their technical expertise to help clients identify the right solutions and build lasting commercial relationships. You may already be in sales, or you could be a Sales Engineer ready to move into a full business development role. Sales skills can be taught; your technical understanding is the essential foundation we need. 

The Role

  • Promote and sell company solutions to new and existing customers.
  • Apply your technical engineering, electrical or HVAC knowledge to assess client requirements and propose the best solutions.
  • Develop new business opportunities while managing and growing key accounts.
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure projects are delivered to specification.
  • Represent the business professionally within the Midlands territory, building trust with clients across multiple sectors.

The Person

  • Technical background in engineering, electrical or HVAC (essential).
  • Either: a passion for moving into sales, or a sales engineer background. 
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercially aware, self-motivated, and results driven.
  • Based centrally in the Midlands with flexibility to travel.#
  • Valid UK driving license.
