Seeking a results-driven External Business Development Manager to drive sales of our high- performance stretch film solutions across the UK. This is a key external sales role focused on generating new business, re-engaging lapsed customers, and expanding relationships with existing accounts.

Working in close partnership with our internal sales office, you will be responsible for identifying and converting new commercial opportunities, growing revenue through existing customer channels, and managing a select number of strategic accounts.

Salary: Up to £50k plus bonus, car, benefits

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Proactively prospect and develop new customer relationships in target sectors.
  • Re-engage lapsed or inactive customers to regain market share.
  • Collaborate with the internal sales team to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Drive sales growth and customer value through solution-based selling.
  • Provide feedback on market trends and customer needs to support product and service development.
  • Attend regular meetings at the sales office for strategy alignment and team collaboration.

Skills and experience:

  • A tenacious, energetic, and self-motivated sales professional.
  • Proven experience in external sales, ideally within the packaging or industrial supplies sector.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A hunter mentality with the ability to open doors and close deals.
  • Willingness to travel as needed and maintain regular presence at the Midlands based office office.
