Company Overview:We're working with a leading manufacturing business seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer / Data Analyst to support their data-driven decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can translate complex data into actionable insights.
Role Overview:As a BI Developer / Data Analyst, you'll play a key role in designing and delivering high-impact dashboards and data models. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand operational goals and provide data solutions that drive performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights.
- Build and optimize enterprise-grade DAX models for scalable reporting.
- Write and execute SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored data solutions.
- Interpret data within the context of manufacturing operations to support strategic decisions.
- Proven experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, DAX, and SQL.
- Ability to understand and map business processes to data models.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset focused on delivering business value, not just technical outputs.
- Interviews are starting ASAP.
- This is a contract role with flexible hybrid working (1-2 days onsite in the Midlands).
