Senior Developer - SAP Business Object Data Services (BODS)

£50,000 - £60,000 + circa 15% bonus and extensive benefits

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Developer who will be focussed on Technical Specification Development with extensive experience in SAP BODS (Business Object Data Services).

You will be working as part of a team migrating legacy systems as part of a huge company-wide transformation programme. Whilst the role will involve some hands-on development, the emphasis with this role is very much on designing and prescribing how data should be extracted from the legacy system and ensuring that other developers implement solutions in a standardised and efficient manner.

Experience Required

  • Must have strong experience in SAP BODS (Business Objects Data Services) development
  • Proven SQL expertise and strong understanding of data modelling and ETL processes
  • Experience designing technical specifications and working across legacy-to-strategic platform migrations
  • Understanding of end-to-end system design and ability to identify and recommend improvements
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and awareness of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
