Key Responsibilities of the BREEAM Assessor:

  • Manage and deliver BREEAM assessments from pre-assessment to post-construction stages
  • Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure sustainability targets are met
  • Compile and submit evidence for BREEAM credits, ensuring timely and accurate certification
  • Provide technical sustainability advice and support on environmental performance
  • Keep up to date with changes in sustainability legislation, guidance, and BREEAM standards

The ideal BREEAM Assessor will:

  • Licensed BREEAM Assessor (preferably with experience across multiple BREEAM schemes e.g., New Construction, Refurbishment & Fit-Out, etc.)
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience delivering assessments in a consultancy or construction environment
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
  • A background in sustainability, architecture, engineering, or environmental science would be advantageous
