Lead Ductwork Installation Engineer

Location: Bridgnorth. Shropshire

Salary: Negotiable DOE

Hours: 8.00am - 4.45pm, overtime is available and there will be occasional working away and late finishes.

Our client provides specialist Dust Extraction and Fume Extraction services to a wide range of industry sectors, the Film and TV sector forming approximately 50% of their work.

The Role

Due to expansion, they now have an exciting opportunity for an Installation Engineer to join them at their base in Bridgnorth. They are looking to grow this position into a lead role.

You will be expected to work on site where required as part of your overall responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with installation team, fitting Dust and Fume Extraction equipment.
  • Siting and building of equipment.
  • New employee training

Skills and Qualifications

Essential:

  • Previous experience within a similar role would be essential.
  • Clean driving licence.
  • Good general knowledge of maths for accurate measurements and layout of ductwork and plant.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with positive mental attitude and enthusiasm.
  • Working to high standard, with excellent eye for detail.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Ability to self-motivate and work alone.

Desirable:

  • Experience of Dust/Fume extraction market
  • Ipaf 3a and 3b operator training certificate, PASMA,Counter balance fork lift truck, DBS certificate
