Role - Full Time, Hybrid after 3 months

Do you love HR but are ready for a change? We are looking for an HR Coordinator to join a team in an exciting new role, working hand in hand with Learning and Development. Working for an amazing global company, we need you to help contribute to the daily operations of the business.

This Birmingham-based role works across the construction and engineering sector and is looking for someone to oversee employee's current and future well-being, while also helping with the day-to-day responsibilities that come with HR. The role requires you to have excellent communication skills so you can engage with a variety of different people across the business.

The role includes:

  • Ensuring all payroll processes and queries are completed with relevant information recorded accurately.
  • Overseeing the new employee on-boarding process from the start, including drafting contracts and conducting Right to Work and documentation checks
  • Adhering to GDPR and HR processes and policies, ensuring employee files are kept up to date.
  • Maintaining, improving, and delivering the best compliance practices, while regularly updating your knowledge
  • Assisting management in employee appraisals and reviews to ensure these are completed fairly.
  • Overseeing all salary and bonus reviews, ensuring they are submitted accurately and on time.
  • Providing basic technical support to employees using the CRM system to ensure excellent customer service
  • Analysing relevant training data to improve training delivery and productivity
  • Scheduling meetings and ensuring all deadlines are met promptly.
  • Maintaining, improving, and delivering the best HR practices, while continually updating your knowledge
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on HR-related queries and policies

Key skills:

  • Minimum of 1 year of HR experience (preferred)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient IT skills
  • Experience with HR processes and payroll systems
  • Adaptability
  • General administration experience (preferred)
