Duties of the Scheme Manager role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Providing intensive housing management service at scheme and Residents / Tenants / Customers living within sheltered housing environment
  • Facilitating residents on site
  • Monitoring the performance of contractors
  • Assisting customers to pay bills
  • Providing onsite management and supervision of sheltered housing schemes with regard to security, health and safety & maintenance, ensuring that communal areas and scheme office are kept clean, tidy and free from hazards.
  • Carrying out statutory and cyclic H&S checks
  • Undertaking pre tenancy interviews and accompanied viewings, assessment of housing needs and sign ups to ensure sustainability of tenure for the applicant.
  • Managing low-level ASB working in conjunction with Housing and Neighbourhood and ASB officers.
  • Minimising arrears, ensuring that the process is understood and agreements for repayment of any debt are made.

The successful Scheme Manager candidate will have:

  • Relevant Supported Housing experience
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS
  • Driving license
