We are currently working in partnership with global industry leading engineering firm who are looking to appoint a HR Business Partner on a permanent basis.

This will be a full-time position based in the south west of Birmingham, with hybrid working (2/3 days home working) and a salary upwards of £45k.

The ideal candidate will have at least a L5 CIPD and hands on experience managing complex ER cases.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Supporting the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, organisational development, and employee relations programs
  • Handling complex ER cases such as, disciplinary actions, grievances, absence management, performance improvement, and reorganisations, ensuring compliance with legal and internal processes
  • Collaborating with managers and HR colleagues on workforce planning, succession strategies, and talent development to align with business goals
  • Advocating for HR programs and policies, ensuring their effective roll-out across the business in line with strategic objectives
  • Using HR platforms to manage employee records, monitor HR processes, and support accurate data handling and reporting
