About the Role:

As a Sales Engineer, you will be at the forefront sales operations, responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, maintaining and growing existing customer accounts, and providing exceptional technical support to a range of clients. Your role will involve preparing and delivering technical presentations, conducting thorough investigations to understand client needs, and recommending appropriate solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Development:
- Prospect and build relationships with potential clients.
- Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
- Understand client needs and recommend solutions.
Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to meet customer requirements.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements.
Proposal and Negotiation:
- Prepare detailed proposals and quotations.
- Negotiate contracts and terms of sale.
- Develop sales strategies with the Sales Director.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Gather feedback to inform product development.
- Ensure post-sale client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a sales engineer or technical sales role.
Strong technical knowledge of CNC machines, laser cutters, and related equipment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
Proficiency in CRM software.
Willingness to travel to client sites and industry events.
