Fram are working on a great opportunity to join a growing Financial Planning firm based in Somerset. Our client is looking to hire an IFA administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Financial Planning and paraplanning team. The admin team, work in a pod system supporting circa 10 financial advisors and 4 Paraplanners, allowing you to get to know the clients, financial planning product and providers well. This is a varied and busy position requiring the successful candidate to provide a full range of administrative support to the firm. You will be focused on timely delivery of work in line with daily tasks and are responsible for ensuring that our advisors and clients receive the best administration support; proactively searching for opportunities to add value.    Some of the responsibilities:  
  • Respond to Advisor/client queries promptly.
  • Build on technical training to provide specific and accurate responses to queries raised by Advisors, colleagues, or clients.
  • Vocalisation of any issues arising or ideas/solutions that will help the firm promote its core principals or working practices.
  • Actively explore the opportunities available to get involved with work in other service lines or offices. This can include participation in the firm’s steering committees or advisory groups.
  • Seek involvement in projects to develop internal processes.
  • Take an active role in team meetings and discussions.
  • Complete ownership of your own time and work with effective reporting and communication with your peers.
  • Consistently demonstrating going the extra mile for Advisors/clients to exceed their service expectations.
  • Increase your technical knowledge.
  • Assist with administrative duties as required by the firm.  
An ideal candidate will have at least a few years’ administration experience within an IFA. A good knowledge of back-office systems such as IO and VC filing along with Word, Excel and Outlook. excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills. Ideally some RO qualifications but this is not essential as our client will help with professional development.
