Pay Rate: £171 per day

Job Purpose / Overview

  • Provide professional, accurate and reliable PA support to two Head of Functions within the HPC Technical Directorate - the Head of Commercial Management, the Head of Plant Engineering and their wider team
  • Extensive diary & Inbox management
  • Prepare meeting packs, co-ordinating meeting room bookings, book travel including UK & Europe - including itinerary planning, accommodation, hire vehicles and hospitality as required (through in-house travel system)
  • Co-ordinate off site events including planning/prep for Team Away days (through in-house event planners)
  • Checking of formatting and presentations of documents before submission
  • Taking actions and sending out Minutes of Meetings (when required)
  • Action tracking, open point management
  • Work and closely liaise with other PA's across the business

To succeed you will need

  • Confident & experienced with excellent secretarial & PA skills
  • Good organisational skills (flexible/organised/methodical), a collaborative approach to emergent/unexpected challenges
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, prioritise actions and deliverables, must be proactive
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills, notably with various levels of the organisation and externally
  • The ability to work as an integral part of a team contributing to team success
  • Discretion - confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information
  • Attention to detail, ability to effectively manage all set tasks through to completion
  • Ability to adapt to new and changing systems
  • Use of Outlook/Microsoft Office 365 - Word, Power Point, Excel.


Experience/strong competence in the following:

  • Extensive diary & time management, support with scheduling & re-scheduling
  • Ability to work well with people with a range of different working styles
  • Base location is Aztec West but travel to other locations is required when necessary
