Business Development Manager
Up to £110k (Up to £60k base + OTE)
Hybrid (Remote / Travel to client sites / 1x Monthly visit to HQ)
We’re seeking a driven and consultative Business Development Manager to secure new business opportunities within the Hospitality sector.
Your role will centre on identifying client needs and delivering tailored solutions in Connectivity, IT, Networks, Software, Wi-Fi, and Telecoms. This is a new business-focused role, requiring proactive lead generation through networking, market research, and industry engagement. There will also be involvement in supporting existing client relationships.
Success in this role requires a background in technology sales and familiarity with a range of industry-leading solution providers e.g. Cisco, Aruba, Gamma, Cyber etc
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Sales Director to develop a targeted business development strategy
- Identify and win new business through cold calling, networking, trade shows, and industry insights
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline using a consultative sales approach
- Meet and exceed recurring revenue targets
- Maintain structured activity plans and weekly KPIs
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers across target sectors
- Represent the business at events and within professional networks to uncover new opportunities
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce, including sales activity, customer data, and communications
- Ensure exceptional customer experience throughout the sales cycle
- Manage a small portfolio of newly onboarded clients before handing them over to the Account Management team
- Stay informed about product offerings and industry trends to support consultative sales
- Provide clear and thorough project handovers to internal teams
Key Requirements:
- Demonstrated success in a similar business development or technology sales role
- Travelling to client sites and winning new business
- Proven ability to build and convert a sales pipeline into tangible revenue
- Experience in at least two of the following areas: Connectivity, IT Networks, Cloud, Telecoms, or Software
- Strong technical understanding of both on-premise and cloud-based networking solutions
- Confident in handling multi-site tenders and large-scale project bids
- Valid UK driving licence (field-based role)
