About the Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Project Engineer to join a prestigious project at Hinkley Point C, the UK's first new-build nuclear power station in a generation. This role plays a key part in supporting the UK's Net Zero targets and requires a dedicated professional with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety and quality.

Benefits of a Mechanical Project Engineer:

• Weekly pay
• 37.5 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, with weekend work available
• Ongoing contract work
• Overtime available
• PAYE or CIS payment options

Key Responsibilities of a Mechanical Project Engineer:

• Plan, manage, and oversee mechanical project operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and profitability.
• Ensure all mechanical works comply with relevant standards, specifications, and legislation.
• Maintain high health and safety standards on-site, addressing any issues promptly.
• Provide clear communication, guidance, and supervision to the mechanical team.

Skills Required for a Mechanical Project Engineer:

• Technical competence and strong analytical ability
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Leadership and team coordination capabilities
• Effective planning and problem-solving skills

Preferable but not essential:

• ONC/HNC/ NVQ L3/L4 Building Services.
• Engineering Degree
