Job: Contract Asbestos Surveyor
Rate: 275 per day (10 hour day)
Shift Pattern: Mon - Thur, 07:30 - 17:30
Location: Bridgwater, North Somerset
Contract length: Ongoing / indefinite

The Role
A new position has opened for an Asbestos Surveyor in the Bridgwater, North Somerset area to join a specialised multidisciplinary consultancy. The role will see you working on a static power station which is in the midst of a major face-lift. You will be primarily working in the Bridgwater area making this a static role and home based role if you are local or living in or around the area.
Surveyors from further afield are more them welcome to apply, as on site accommodation can be provided for at no extra cost. You will also receive expenses towards your travel to and from site
The role will see you performing the following duties:
Key duties include:
- Asbestos surveys
- Bulk sampling and assessment
- Statutory re-inspection
- Airborne fibre monitoring, fibre counting and full clearance works (for those who can do this)
- High level consultancy, client advice on managing asbestos in estates and properties
The Client
Their primary focus is on the promotion of growth within the company and therefore they are looking to take on new long-term contract staff to expand their operations.
As a result we are looking for motivated and career focused individuals with following skill set:
- P402 as a minimum, P403 and P404 certificates or S301 with the CCP in Asbestos would be beneficial also
- Minimum of 2 year post qualification experience
- Experience working in the Industrial sector would be a distinct advantage but is not essential.
