DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITHIN MACHINE OPERATION, SETTING, MAINTENANCE? GOOD AT TROUBLESHOOTING AND RESOVING PROBLEMS?

We are recruiting for 2 experienced Machine Operators on a permanent basis in Bridgwater, TA6. You will be joining a local company that are committed to delivering packaging solutions to their customers and continually seek to provide a first-class service. From Day 1 you will be provided with a worker training buddy who will assist you on your training and introduce you to the Site Operating Procedures (SOP’s)

Our client is a European market leader in eco-designed food packaging solutions, is a manufacturing company based in the South East of England. The company develops, manufactures, and distributes a great range of packaging solutions for fruit and vegetables and for ready meals in the United Kingdom.

About the Role:

To Set up and operate extrusion machines according to specifications

To monitor the extrusion process to ensure product quality and consistency

To adjust machine settings as needed to meet production requirements

To perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance

To troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process

To follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work area

To collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Requirements:

Previous experience operating extrusion machines is preferred

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Knowledge of logic controllers and basic electrical systems is beneficial

Comfortable working in a warehouse environment

Working Hours & Pay Rate:

  • 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, 6am to 6pm
  • Two shift patterns available

1/ Mix of Days and Nights, £14.79ph

2/ Nights only, £15.14ph

Successful candidates will be a pro-active team worker, liaising and co-operating with all members of staff. Operate within the confines of company policy and procedure requirements, including integrity and confidentiality in respect of the business.
