An opportunity for a freelance Section Engineer to work on a major, high-profile project in Somerset.
With over 12 months of work, this role is a good opportunity for a long-term freelance position.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in managing and supporting Site Engineers.
As Section Engineeryou will:
- Take engineering ownership of a defined section of works.
- Have experience in Civil Engineering schemes including major projects.
- Ensure setting out, quality control, and as-built records are accurate and complete.
- Prepare and reviewing method statements, risk assessments, and ITPs.
Our client requires a Section Engineer with:
- Valid CSCS and SSSTS/SMSTS
- A good understanding of Trimble or Leica.
- Excellent communication skills.
- HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.
Salary and benefits include:
- 450-500 per day PAYE Umbrella
