DCS Recruitment currently seek an experienced data cabling engineer in Bridgwater, Somerset, on behalf of a national communications contractor.

This project is expected to run for the next 6 months.

Must have experience in data cable and device installation within an industrial environment as well as moves and changes. This project will involve all aspects of data cabling installation and fibre cabling runs.

The successful candidates will:

  • Hold a valid ECS card - industry related accreditation is preferred e.g. datacoms specialist, network infrastructure, digital network engineer, cabling installer
  • Hold following certification (or be willing to acquire): manual handling, working at height, harness training
  • Have their own hand/termination and power tools for structured cabling scopes
  • Be able to provide proof of right to work ID and home address as part of your induction process
  • Hold a DBS certificate from within the last 3 months, or be willing to be put through this vetting prior to start

You will be asked to provide two relevant work references prior to submitting you for induction.
