Salary: up to 65,000 + car allowance + package

Location: Somerset (Hinkley Point C Site)

Job Type: Full-time, 38 hours/week

Working Pattern: 5 Days a week / 9 days fortnightly

About the Role:

Join a once-in-a-generation infrastructure project that's central to the UK's Net Zero future. We're looking for a Quality Manager to lead assurance activities across a critical scope of works, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and performance throughout the construction lifecycle.

What You'll Do as a Quality Manager

  • Lead a team of Quality Engineers and Inspectors across a complex, regulated environment
  • Ensure adherence to the Contract Quality Assurance Plan (CQAP) and develop project-specific procedures
  • Promote a strong nuclear safety culture and ensure all site activities are undertaken safely and responsibly
  • Manage the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process and provide feedback to stakeholders
  • Monitor quality KPIs, prepare progress reports, and recommend improvement actions
  • Oversee the review and acceptance of Life Time Quality Records (LTQRs) and handover documentation
  • Support audits, equipment specification reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Drive a risk-based, data-driven approach to quality management and project performance

What You'll Bring as a Quality Manager

  • ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor qualification
  • Degree or minimum 5 years' experience in Quality Management within a regulated industry
  • Proven ability to lead and develop multi-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing, inspection, and quality improvement tools
  • Experience transforming strategic quality objectives into actionable results
  • Familiarity with ISO 19443:2018 and nuclear safety culture is highly desirable
  • Membership of a professional body (e.g. CQP MCQI, ASQ CMQ) is a plus
