Isca Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join our growing client based near Bridgwater.

This is an exciting new opportunity for an ambitious Quality Engineer to join the team in this newly created position to contribute to a forward-thinking company. Working closely with the Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for instigating, maintaining and developing further the existing quality frameworks for both the manufacturing and office areas of the business.

Quality Engineer - Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the lead for Quality functions for the business
  • Ensure all activities are compliant and report on same
  • Develop a quality culture within the business and lead on this
  • Identify and support continuous improvement across the quality function
  • Report to SLT on internal and external quality matters and assist with audits
  • Develop and coach teams thoroughly to maximise efficiencies and improve quality particular within WIP
  • Support ISO requirements for quality and health & safety

Quality Engineer - What’s on Offer:

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000pa + great benefitsLocation: On site role, BridgwaterHours: Full time, Mon - Fri, some flexibility on start and finish.

Quality Engineer - Key Attributes:

  • This role will suit a proactive, astute Quality Engineer seeking a varied hands-on role with a growing SME, we are keen to hear from individuals with proven experience in a quality role with sound working knowledge of engineering/manufacturing principles.
  • You’ll be a practitioner of quality, passionate about driving quality forward
  • Ideally you’ll have 6 Sigma or similar and experience of internal auditing to IMS ISO9001
  • Excellent communicator at all levels with a strong customer satisfaction ethos and the ability to build rapport with colleagues.
