Recruit4staff are representing a leading manufacturing business in their search for a Maintenance Engineer to work in Bridgwater

Job Details:

  • Pay: £40,000 - £50,000 (Plus 5% annual bonus, subject to company performance)
    • Single-Skilled Candidates: £40,000 -£45,000 per annum 
    • Multi-Skilled Candidates: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
  • Hours of Work: 4 on 4 off (7 AM – 7 PM, 2 days / 2 nights)
  • Duration: Permanent

Job Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing faults and testing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment. You will liaise with OEMs and suppliers for technical support, expedite parts when needed, and analyse recurring faults to reduce equipment downtime. You will also support and adhere to departmental 5S programmes and maintain standards in line with ISO 9001:2000.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

  • Experience within the manufacturing industry
  • Recognised Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

  • Multi-skilled, ideally 50/50 mechanical/electrical
