We're looking for a proactive and skilled Maintenance Engineer to ensure their plant operates at peak performance while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Comply with the Company's Quality Policy, procedures, and work instructions, ensuring standards for quality, hygiene, and housekeeping are met.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns and issues to maximise machine efficiency, minimise waste and maintain safety.
- Uphold and improve plant hygiene and housekeeping to the highest standards.
- Suggest new projects or practices to drive continuous improvement in health & safety, quality and performance.
- Monitor machinery performance and take proactive measures to prevent downtime.
- Prioritise routine engineering tasks (breakdowns, servicing, maintenance) in collaboration with the Production and Engineering Managers.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues about safety, quality, and machinery issues.
- Repair any breakdowns within the plant or site as requested.

- Strong mechanical/electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.
- Flexibility to work additional hours or travel when required.
