Site Planner - Hinkley Point C
Up to 80 p/h (Umbrella) | Site-based | 6-month contract (potential to extend)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Site Planner to join the delivery team at Hinkley Point C, one of the UK's most significant infrastructure and energy projects. This is a site-based role on an initial 6-month contract, with strong potential for extension.

As a Site Planner, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining detailed Level 4 programmes, ensuring the project runs to schedule while supporting decision-making through accurate progress reporting and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce and manage Level 4 programmes (including 4 & 16 week look-aheads)

  • Monitor performance against plan and update stakeholders regularly

  • Identify and communicate critical path risks, recommending corrective action

  • Incorporate variations and emergent works into existing programmes

  • Support resource planning and analyse earned value performance

  • Forecast and report on physical quantities (e.g. meterage, welds, etc.)

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Excel

  • Strong planning and reporting capability with attention to detail

  • Ability to communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders

  • Awareness of safety, quality, and cost drivers in project planning
