Then please get in touch ! Kingston Barnes are recruiting for a Controls and Automation Engineer to join our client in the Bridgwater area !

This is a new and exciting role that will suit someone who is looking to lead automation strategies, working with a variety of PLC's, leading process improvements and implementing new ideas on site.

**Responsibilities**

  • Support, trouble shoot and enhance our existing automated, PLC based and data equipment, working with our automationcolleagues on site. This will include software and integration of control system hardware in collaboration with maintenance and production teams
  • Lead and support delivery of Automation / Operational Technology projects through the full lifecycle, from concept and specification through to commissioning, validation and production support.
  • Manage our automation partners in delivery of projects and their support to our equipment

**Requirements**

  • Must have experience working with AB's and Siemens PLC's
  • Background in manufacturing is essential
  • Technical engineering quals

**Hours**

  • Days only, Monday - Thursday (Early finish Friday)
