- Experience leading a maintenance team in a manufacturing environment, or a senior maintenance engineer ready to take the next step.
- IOSH Managing Safely certificate highly desirable.
- Lead day-to-day maintenance activities, ensuring rapid response to breakdowns and minimal downtime.
- Manage the tooling workshop, ensuring safety, quality, and reliability.
- Develop and refine the PPM schedule using CMMS.
- Track performance data and use it to drive efficiency and reduce unplanned outages.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 6 maintenance professionals.
- Assign workloads, conduct performance reviews, and support team development.
- Define and monitor KPIs relating to equipment availability, maintenance response times, and schedule adherence.
- Take ownership of service level improvements across the site.
- Support engineering projects, ensuring maintenance considerations are built into plans.
- Work closely with production teams to implement and embed TPM practices.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Problem-solver with a hands-on approach.
- High level of attention to detail, integrity, and ownership.
- Collaborative and assertive — able to work cross-functionally and drive change.
- Up to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience + 4% bonus
- Monday to Friday working pattern with an early finish on Fridays
