  • Westlakes Recruit is seeking an HVAC Engineer for a major nuclear client based in Bridgwater.
  • The ideal candidate should have onsite installation experience and a degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.

Westlakes Recruit are currently supporting one of our major nuclear clients based out of Bridgwater recruiting for a HVAC Engineer.

Looking for:
* Someone who has onsite installation experience
* Understands construction sequencing of mechanical and/or electrical installation
* can read and interpret construction drawings / BIM models
* ability to deal with multiple stakeholders
* looking for people that have 'come off the tools' and progressed to supervisor / site manager roles that really understand the detail

Degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
* Experience in HVAC system onsite installation
* Proven track record of progressing from hands-on trade roles into supervisory or site management position will be an advantage
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings / BIM models
* Knowledge of the construction / installation industry
* Understanding construction sequencing of mechanical and/or electrical installation.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation including CDM and Nuclear Site License requirements.
* Ability to influence a diverse range of stakeholders, particularly those in a site environment.
* Ability to work independently, be pro-active, report on and escalate relevant issues.
