Abatec is recruiting for a freelance Site Agent to join a recognised regional contractor on a civil engineering project in Bridgwater
The successful candidate will have a previous background in civil engineering, groundworks and earthworks.
As a Site Agent you will:
- Oversee the day-to-day site activities, ensuring safe and efficient project execution.
- Support and drive continuous improvement within the project delivery team.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
- Work closely with the client, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain strong relationships.
- Monitor project progress, managing budgets and schedules effectively.
- Identify and mitigate risks to avoid project delays and cost overruns.
- Lead site teams and foster a positive, safety-focused working environment.
Our client requires a Site Agent with:
- Valid CSCS
- SMSTS
- A good understating of health & safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills
- A background in civil engineering
Salary and benefits include:
- 350 - 400 per day CIS Umbrella
