About the Role
You'll be teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging science lessons that spark curiosity and build confidence. The school offers a broad and balanced curriculum, with a strong emphasis on practical learning and student progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach general science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (specialism welcomed)
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons
- Support students in developing scientific knowledge, skills, and enquiry
- Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and academic achievement
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in science (biology, chemistry, or physics)
- Experience teaching up to GCSE level
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A passion for science and student development
- A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
