Our client in Bridgwater is looking for a Quality Engineer to support their commitment to precision, safety, and excellence in every product they deliver.

The Role:
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing visual and dimensional inspections using handheld tools and CMMs
- Writing clear and concise inspection reports
- Supporting and updating PFMEAs, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams
- Leading internal and external quality claims investigations
- Calibrating measurement systems and managing MSA/SPC/PPAP documentation
- Training staff on quality standards and SOPs
- Working cross-functionally with Production, R&D, Engineering, and beyond
About you:
- Background in engineering with experience reading technical drawings and specs
- Familiarity with quality systems in industrial, aerospace, automotive, or FMCG sectors
- Experience with CMM and a variety of measuring tools (training provided if needed)
- Solid understanding of problem-solving and root-cause analysis methods
- Confident communicator and natural collaborator
- Takes initiative and thrives in a goal-driven environment
- Has a sharp eye for detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving
