Our client in Bridgwater is looking for a Quality Engineer to support their commitment to precision, safety, and excellence in every product they deliver.

They are a market leader within the assembly manufacturing industry and are looking forward to another successful year within this marketplace. The business has shown consistent growth and is constantly developing new systems to maintain its competitive advantage in existing markets.

The Role:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing visual and dimensional inspections using handheld tools and CMMs
  • Writing clear and concise inspection reports
  • Supporting and updating PFMEAs, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams
  • Leading internal and external quality claims investigations
  • Calibrating measurement systems and managing MSA/SPC/PPAP documentation
  • Training staff on quality standards and SOPs
  • Working cross-functionally with Production, R&D, Engineering, and beyond

About you:

  • Background in engineering with experience reading technical drawings and specs
  • Familiarity with quality systems in industrial, aerospace, automotive, or FMCG sectors
  • Experience with CMM and a variety of measuring tools (training provided if needed)
  • Solid understanding of problem-solving and root-cause analysis methods
  • Confident communicator and natural collaborator
  • Takes initiative and thrives in a goal-driven environment
  • Has a sharp eye for detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving
  • Values integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement
