As a Quality Inspector, your responsibilities will include:
- Perform inspection activities across mechanical components, assemblies, and finished products.
- Ensure internal procedures, customer specifications, and relevant industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records and manage inspection documentation to support traceability and compliance.
- Identify non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
- Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure consistent product quality.
- Communicate inspection findings clearly, both verbally and in written reports.
The successful Quality Inspector will have
- Technical understanding and hands-on experience in mechanical discipline
- Familiarity with quality standards and regulatory requirements (internal and external).
- Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in documentation control.
- Confident communicator with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
- Previous experience in a quality or inspection role within manufacturing is highly desirable.
This role offers a competitive salary and working hours are Monday to Friday with an early finish on a Friday and the business is commutable from Scarborough, Driffield, Bridlington and surrounding areas.
