What you'll be doing:

As Sous Chef, you'll support the Head Chef in delivering a hyper-seasonal, ingredient-led menu. You'll take creative ownership in the kitchen while fostering a positive, collaborative culture across a small but highly committed team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the team through service with consistency and calm

  • Supporting the Head Chef in day-to-day operations, ordering and planning

  • Taking charge of menu items and specials using local, foraged and homegrown ingredients

  • Maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards

  • Helping nurture a team culture rooted in respect, learning, and pride

  • Being part of a retreat-wide ethos focused on sustainability, quality and guest experience
